Registered Psychotherapist
Jessica Holden is a graduate of Yorkville University with a Masters in Counselling and is a Registered Psychotherapist. Jessica specializes in Neurodivergency and Disordered Eating/Eating Disorders for youth, young adults and adult populations.
Life can be challenging when we try to do it alone. I am passionate about helping people learn to accept themselves and their feelings; while learning how and why they operate the way they do. Often, the behaviours and feelings that cause the most challenges make sense when we look at our life experiences. Once we understand why they occur, we can work to give ourselves grace and find more adaptive approaches that help us lead the life we want. Feelings of anxiety, sadness, depression, anger and lack of motivation are all normal, but when they become too much, I am here to support you through it.
My main area of expertise is neurodivergence, supporting those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD and other neuro-differences. I am also passionate about helping those struggling with eating and body image related concerns to regulate their eating habits and work toward body acceptance through CBT-E, ACT and radical acceptance.
Life gets difficult and sometimes we need someone to accept us for exactly who we are, while challenging us to grow in ways we didn't know we could. If you are ready to take that first step to improving your mental health, I am here to walk the path with you.
