About the event
While certain life events and circumstances can bring about acute anxiety, sometimes we may find that the anxiety lingers long after the event or circumstance has passed, or that even seemingly trivial tasks and events cause significant anxiety within. And while working through the mental and emotional aspects of the life event, and doing everything we can to reduce stressful circumstances helps to address anxiety, there are also physiological reasons why you may be experiencing anxiety, especially chronic anxiety not caused by a sudden event or circumstance. Certain foods help to heal the underlying physiological causes of anxiety, while others can add to the fire.
